WORLD
The earliest mentions of Hyde’s residency in Blackstone and their ownership of these lands have been dated back around the 18th century. Intensive investments included construction of a complex of pyrite mines. In the Nicolas’ days the entire city benefited from the family business and was a popular place, regularly visited by the tourists.
In the Adam’s timeline Blackstone is mostly visited by the groups of young people attracted by the legend of an unsolved mystery of multiple murders. The prime time of this area has been long forgotten and the town is now an ordinary, slightly seedy place.

After moving to the house he inherited from the grandma, Adam wished to provide an idyllic atmosphere for his pregnant wife, Emma, and a safe spot for himself to work on cracking the Soviet’s code. Unfortunately, he has found a diary, which once belonged to Nicolas, previous owner of the mansion. And the story inside is not an ordinary family’s tale, nor is it limited to the cover of this journal….

Emma, is a cheerful and energetic young woman who decided to focus on nurturing her family. Especially now, when her and Adam’s first baby is on its way. They are both pretty stressed, but Emma tries to stay rational and focus on renovation of their new home. Yet, somehow it becomes a real challenge to stay reasonable when your dreamt home turns out not to be as safe and peaceful as you hoped.
